The Microcosm of You-ness.
(Inspired by Pluto and Aquarius and all of the Alleged Upcoming Transformation.)
There has been a whole lotta talking this week about the cosmos. Even people who don’t talk about the stars are talking about a little is-it-or-isn’t-it-a planet called Pluto.
I’m not an astrologer, but I do know a thing or two about personal transformation, and I want to talk about that.
What they say Pluto in Aquarius is about is how this will be an era of revolution and change on an all-of-humanity scale.
When I look at things like that, I get overwhelmed: what does that even mean? Does this just mean I have to go along for the ride? (Because I gotta be honest, I didn’t love the last ride so much.)
So I tend to do what I always do when the macrocosm feels like a macro problem:
I shift the question to the microcosm that is one single human.
Because I do believe that healing us heals the whole. Healthy, happy, creatively inspired, resourced, curious, solution-based and hope-full people can only be good for the planet, (or at the very least help us get ready for any all-of-humanity transformations.)
People are saying that the last time this transit happened, there were bloody revolutions.
Bloody revolutions happen when the side that represents what WAS fights to keep it and the side that represents what COULD BE fights to get it. (Simplified? Yes. But still true.)
Which brings me back to the microcosm that is you:
Where can you look at the metaphor of peaceful revolution in your own self and your own becoming?
Where can you see - and maybe release - the parts of you that are fighting for what was, even though you know that what was isn’t the most beautiful way forward?
We hold the energy of revolution in our bodies every day: we fight for what we know is True, even when there is a part of us that wants something else to be True.
We know the better way for us, but we are still using the map of the old route.
So if you want to work with the magic of the cosmos right now (and for the next 20 years) on a personal scale, I offer you this:
What if you let your own revolutions/your own transformation happen?
What if you allowed the impulse to transform lead you and you didn’t send in the army to fight for The Old Way?
And what if you let that take as long as it needs to take?
Because what if one human - the microcosm - choosing to hold peaceful revolution and transformation as a fact could affect the macrocosm?
What if the next 20 years was a beautiful, peaceful shift from the old, outdated, hierarchical, fusty, musty way, to a beautiful, healthy, happy, creatively inspired, resourced, curious, solution-based and hope-full way for all-of-humanity?
And you could start with you.
Just imagine…
I send you so much love,

If you enjoyed this post, I would be so grateful if you shared it with someone who might also enjoy it. xo
You really spoke to me in this post. Today it is four years since my husband passed away and no matter the grief work I've done, I distinctly feel a need to hold on to the past. Past me, past us, past life while at the same time wanting to change.
And being an Aquarious I'm probably supposed to be overjoyed by Pluto coming to my Zodiac sign. Let's see.
I really like your take on the micro cosmos. In twenty years I'm hopefully a very happy 78 year young human who sees a beatiful and harmonious world around her.
