Please do write The Curiosity of Dates and Thyme. I'll read it. 😊 Time is just weird when it's so very micro-managed. (And it's so very, very micro-managed.) Time zones. Oof. And then there's daylight savings time... 😶
Time is a strange concept to me...like very "precise" and so depending of our physiology and emotions as well!.
We can measure it and this can be practical but in a "absolute" way of course it doesn't have an existence "per se" ,
Days, nights and seasons may be ryththmed by the Sun, Earth and Moon, and distance is measured by time and speed..
But in a magical world time doesn't exist...or may be it can be expanded, constricted etc...like it depends of where we are in space or otherwise. Relative it us. Let's forget about it sometimes...as a training...to travel distances and ideas while in the same place
Yesss. I love these wonderings, thank you! I love what you said about a magical world. Isn't it interesting how easily we can leave the idea of time behind when we are watching or reading something? We can't leave very many other constructs behind as easily, but we can easily believe in time travel or changing time, or moving through time. So we must know on some level that it is a strange and not entirely true-as-we-have-been-told concept.
